Tonu Aboaba at Harlow Property NetworkTonu is a property professional through and through having started her career at the age of 18 in the Construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor before then transitioning to Real Estate and now Property Investing. She likes to be called a Prop-Preneuer and Multi Solution Strategist reflecting her diverse background and the fact that her focus is always to offer multiple solutions and act as a consultant to distressed property owners.

This talk is a must for newbie investors who get to see how she evaluates each deal, creates a win-win solution both sides and more importantly the post mortem analysing whether the deals did actually stack up and live up to expectation and the learnings from them.

Newbie investors are often overwhelmed and confused by the variety of strategies talked about in property investing circles that it takes them a while to get their heads around this before deciding on what strategy to settle for. I certainly was when I came on the scene. I spent the first year immersing myself totally in this new world and attending numerous property networking events before educating myself and then deciding on how I wanted to transact properties.
During my talk I will explain:-

– how each deal was sourced
– what problems the owners had
– what win-win solutions we found for the property owner ie why we chose to transact the
the way we did
– how we monetised each deal
– ROIs
– our learnings: positive and negative
– whether we will do the deal the same way again
– above all how mindset is key to “making it happen” in property investing
